Our Story
Even before 2012, Simone Saglietti, the fourth generation of a family of carpenters, felt the need to create an industrial product that was new for Saglietti Group, which until then specialised exclusively in custom-made furniture.
Until then, we had never thought of a catalogue line, something that could be sold independently, without having to go through full customisation.
The insight came unexpectedly: a customer showed up with an interlocking display to use for a fair. That gesture lit a spark.
What if we developed our own exhibition furniture with those characteristics?
So we started experimenting, building the first sample. The result was crude, but already contained the seed of something new. Over time, we perfected every aspect - materials, shapes, cut, joints - and we were able to create a new piece. to the quality excellence that distinguishes Esposit today.
After careful market research, both in Italy and abroad, we discovered that there were very few competitors in the interlocking wooden display sector. It was clear: that was the way to go. So in 2012, Simone Saglietti decided to invest in the first numerically controlled machines and introduce CNC Nesting technology, which allows us to optimise materials and time, reducing waste.
However, machines were not enough. Esposit, as we know it today, did not yet exist. We had to imagine a whole new process, completely different from our traditional work. And above all, we had to learn to trust machines, who have always been accustomed to a manual and artisanal approach.
That passage was a real revolution: we industrialised a process with artisan care. Each product comes from precise and controlled CNC machining, but the human touch never fails. Quality control is an integral part of the process: production checks the first pieces coming off the machine, while the packaging department checks the last ones. Only if both batches are perfect is it confirmed that the whole cycle has been successful. A simple, effective and timely system.
Today, every Esposit display is the fruit of this journey: an intelligent combination of technology and tradition, born of intuition, grown through experience, and shaped with a clear objective: offer easy, lightweight and sustainable solutions to improve the visibility of our customers.
