The right furnishings to save time and money at trade shows without compromising on effective displays
How can you create a functional, brand-consistent trade show booth without complicated assembly and with limited time? More importantly, is it even possible?
Let’s start from the beginning: those who know us are aware that we thrive in urgent situations and love challenges, especially when we know we can win them with the versatility and uniqueness of our displays, as was the case with our experience with Morocolor.
From one trade show to another, a ready-to-use booth
This story begins at the Big Buyer trade show in Bologna, where our booth attracted the curiosity of several companies, including Morocolor.
Morocolor operates in the stationery sector, producing paints, tempera, pastels, and colored modeling clays. The company participates in various trade shows, known for the quality of its products and its commitment to sustainability.
A few months after our first meeting, Morocolor reached out to us with an urgent situation, and we were ready to listen.
In early 2024, the company was set to attend Spielwarenmesse in Nuremberg, the largest international trade fair for toys and stationery. They needed to set up a 5×5 meter exhibition booth with specific requirements:
- Furniture to display various stationery products, including heavy items like 1kg tempera paint packs
- A welcoming area with a counter, tables, and seating for client meetings
- A limited budget
Time constraints were immediately apparent…
Given the urgency, custom-designed displays and furniture were not an option. Therefore, we searched our catalog for the perfect solution, confident we would find it among our modular, interlocking displays and furniture (as we had done before, see here).
For Morocolor, we opted to diversify the displays to ensure versatility and reusability. We proposed a large, visually impactful display with substantial capacity, complemented by a couple of modular displays with movable, inclinable shelves.
For the welcoming area, we recommended the Karya table, featuring a minimalist yet elegant design with all the advantages of lightweight, easy-to-assemble, and transportable furniture.
Long live creativity!
The result of careful furniture selection and the interlocking system was a booth ready for use and reuse, offering several advantages:
An appearance consistent with their products and sustainability values, reflected in the use of natural wood and reusable displays.
Complete modularity, with displays and tables that can be configured differently to meet the needs and spaces of various events.
Time and money savings, as our interlocking system allowed the booth to be managed entirely independently during both assembly and disassembly, reducing costs.
Reduced budget for transportation and setup, as these can be easily handled by the client’s team for future events.
When not in use, the disassembled furniture occupies little space, making storage easier.
What seemed like an impossible mission turned into a success story. Morocolor’s booth not only attracted attention but also demonstrated that when the product is innovative and versatile, the solution is within reach—ready to be assembled.
